Fiery Seatac Crash Kills Three Making a `Difficult Scene`
SEATAC, Wash. --
A violent and fiery crash in SeaTac killed three people, knocked out power to homes and burned an SUV into a charred shell.
A King County sheriff's supervisor told KIRO 7 that the driver lost control about 3:15 a.m. Wednesday.
The SUV left the road, sheared off a small tree, wiped-out a power pole and then hit a commercial building near South 192nd Street and Eighth Avenue South, police said.

The fire became too intense for the witnesses to continue rescue efforts.
Firefighters arrived and put out the fire, but were unable to reach victims, all three of whom are adults.
Hours later, authorities cut a tree out of the small greenbelt to get to the SUV.
"It's been a difficult scene to work," said Chief Jim Graddon SeaTac Police Department.
The roof of the vehicle had to be cut off to remove the bodies.
SeaTac Police Department Chief Jim Graddon said the Medical Examiner's office will have to rely on dental records to identify the victims.
Police said it appeared the car had been speeding.
The crash into the utility pole knocked out power to several homes.
