AEV Offering Ambulance Disinfection System As Line Item

American Emergency Vehicles (AEV) is now offering the Induct 500 from activTek Health Solutions as one of their line item options. The Induct 500 is a non-toxic, continuous air and surface disinfection system that installs directly into the HVAC. The unit itself is only 1.25″h x 2.25″w x 10.38″l and weighs less than 3 lbs.

The other model most in-service ambulances use is the portable AP5-BOE as it can be easily installed within minutes in the patient compartment and simply plugged using 12v. It weighs less than 5 lbs. and has its own fan.

Both units have been successfully installed in ambulances and fire trucks for the past 10 years with rave reviews. In addition to killing viruses and pathogens on contact, ActivePure also kills contaminants that cause odors, providing a healthier space for treating patients.
