Dr. Randolph V. Fugit is an Internal Medicine Clinical Specialist at the Denver Veterans Affairs Medical Center, as well as an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice, College of Pharmacy at the University of Colorado at Denver Health Sciences Center. Dr. Fugit received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of New Mexico, College of Pharmacy. Upon graduation he completed a clinical pharmacy practice residency at the Albuquerque Veterans Affairs Medical Center in which his focus was on internal medicine, gastroenterology, and ambulatory care. Dr. Fugit is a board certified pharmacotherapy specialist and maintains an active clinical practice in the Department of Internal Medicine at the Denver Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He has published four book chapters and numerous peer-reviewed articles in the primary literature and has recently co-authored the chapter on Upper Gastrointestinal Disorders in Applied Therapeutics: The Clinical Use of Drugs and the chapter on Peptic Ulcer Disease in Pharmacotherapy: A Pathophysiologic Approach. His areas of research include outcomes and pharmacoeconomics (including clinical pathway development) involved in the management of both acute and chronic disease states in gastroenterology, rheumatology, infectious diseases, cardiology, and pulmonology.

Dr. Douglas Jennings currently practices as the Clinical Pharmacy Manager in Heart Transplant and Mechanical Circulatory Support at NewYork Presbyterian Columbia University Medical Center.  He is an active researcher in his field, and he has published over 80 peer-reviewed abstracts and manuscripts, primarily focusing on the pharmacotherapy of patients under mechanical circulatory support. As a recognized expert in this area, he has been invited to speak at numerous national and international venues, including meetings in France, Saudia Arabia, India. Finally, Dr. Jennings has been active in professional organizations throughout his career. He is a fellow of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy, the American College of Cardiology, and the American Heart Association.
