Snare Technique to Facilitate ‘Tall-in-Short’ Redo-TAVR

Video 1. Computed tomography fusion imaging showing how the self-expandable THV is unable to advance across the implanted TAVR valve due to the bias towards outer curvature. The nosecone is unable to advance past the TAVR frame. TAVR = transcatheter aortic valve replacement; THV = transcatheter heart valve.

Video 2. A gooseneck snare is positioned close to the nose cone and helps pull the THV towards the middle of the valve to facilitate entry across the previously implanted TAVR valve. TAVR = transcatheter aortic valve replacement; THV = transcatheter heart valve.
